  • 1 cup pineapple chunks fresh or canned
  • 2 tablespoons gochugaru Korean red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 1 scallion green onion chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple chunks, gochugaru, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green onion.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Transfer the marinade to a jar and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
