Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 300 grams spaghetti
Sauce
  • 2 cans sardines in oil
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley chopped for serving

Method
 

Cooking Pasta
  1. Boil water in a pot and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
Making Sauce
  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the sardines and chopped tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Combining
  1. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, tossing to combine.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
