Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup mochi flour
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
Filling
  • 1 cup sweet red bean paste

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, mochi flour, matcha powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Shape the Croissants
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  2. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  3. Fold the dough and roll it out again, repeating this process several times.
  4. Cut the dough into triangles and place a spoonful of sweet red bean paste at the base.
  5. Roll the triangles into croissant shapes and place on a baking sheet.
Bake
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bake the croissants for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Let cool before serving.
