Ingredients
  

Panna Cotta Base
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powdered
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs such as basil or mint
Roasted Plums
  • 4 plums ripe halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Prepare Panna Cotta
  1. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over the mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and fresh herbs.
  4. Pour the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
Roast Plums
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the halved plums on a baking sheet, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until tender.
Serve
  1. Unmold the panna cotta onto plates and top with roasted plums.
  2. Garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, allow the panna cotta to set overnight.
