Ingredients
  

Seafood
  • 1 kg octopus cleaned and cut into pieces
Vegetables
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
Spices
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
Liquids
  • 250 ml red wine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add octopus pieces and cook for a few minutes.
Cooking
  1. Stir in canned tomatoes, red wine, and spices.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 90 minutes.
  3. Serve hot with crusty bread.
