Batter

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add cold water to create a batter.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Dip the cleaned baby octopus into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated.
  2. Carefully place the battered octopus in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove the fried octopus and drain on paper towels.
