  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions in a skillet over medium heat until soft, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, panko breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Shape the mixture into equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. While patties rest, mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
