  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add onion and garlic; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth; let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry in the baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly on top, then sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry, seal edges, and cut slits for steam to escape. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
