  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Rinse the short-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a large pot, combine rinsed rice, milk, sugar, and the cinnamon stick. Stir well.
  3. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat while stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes until thickened.
