  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup beef broth (low sodium)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs about one inch in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake meatballs for 20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. While baking, heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Whisk in flour until golden brown; gradually add beef broth until smooth. Stir in sour cream.
