  • ½ cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). If baking from scratch, mix flour, sugar, eggs, and baking powder in a bowl. Pour mixture into two round cake pans lined with parchment paper and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Let the baked cake layers cool completely on wire racks.
  3. On a serving platter, place one cooled cake layer. Spread half of the softened ice cream over it and sprinkle with half of the sliced strawberries. Top with the second cake layer.
  4. Frost the entire cake with whipped cream.
