  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 4 tbsp milk (or cream, for icing)
  • Food coloring (as desired for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just mixed; do not overmix.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about two-thirds full using a piping bag and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the icing, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Divide into bowls, add food coloring as desired, and drizzle over cooled donuts.
