  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup canned tomato sauce
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Trim excess fat and cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion until soft (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and ginger; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Transfer the sautéed mixture to the slow cooker with chicken pieces. Pour in tomato sauce and coconut milk; stir well.
  4. Spice It Up: Sprinkle garam masala, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Stir again and add pats of butter on top.
