  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp miso paste (white or red)
  • 4 oz ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs
  • 4 oz chashu pork (sliced)
  • 2 nori sheets

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Broth: In a large pot, simmer chicken broth over medium heat. Stir in soy sauce and miso paste until dissolved.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Boil water in another pot and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Soft-Boil the Eggs: Boil eggs for 6 minutes, then place them in ice water to stop cooking.
  4. Assemble Bowls: Portion noodles into bowls, ladle broth over them, and top with chashu pork slices.
  5. Add Toppings: Halve soft-boiled eggs and place on top of each bowl. Garnish with chopped green onions and nori sheets.
  6. Serve Immediately: Enjoy your Shoyu Ramen steaming hot!
