  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface until smooth and about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spread the pumpkin filling evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a half-inch border around the edges.
  5. Starting from one edge, tightly roll up the pastry into a log and seal the edges by pressing gently.
  6. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm!
