  • 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the peaches, then chop them into small chunks.
  2. In a large pot, combine the peach chunks, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar begins to dissolve.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it bubbles. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.
  4. Gradually add pectin while maintaining a gentle boil for another 5-10 minutes.
  5. Pour hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving headspace at the top. Seal tightly.
  6. Let cool at room temperature before storing in the fridge or pantry.
