  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Scoop about two tablespoons of dough, flatten it slightly, place one teaspoon of Nutella in the center, and fold the edges around it tightly. Place on baking sheets two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
