  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions, divided

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  4. Combine the blanched green beans with the soup mixture, season with salt and pepper, and fold in half of the crispy fried onions.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8 baking dish. Top with remaining crispy fried onions.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
