  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and the last with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with panko.
  4. Heat about half an inch of oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Stir over medium heat until mixed well (about 5 minutes).
