  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnishing)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them; let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Remove salmon from the marinade (reserve it) and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until flaky.
  5. While baking, bring reserved marinade to a boil in a saucepan; simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve salmon drizzled with glaze, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
