  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl, pressing into the bottom of a springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix well; scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing briefly after each addition.
  4. Pour the batter over the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes until set around the edges but slightly jiggly in the center.
  5. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight. Decorate with melted chocolate in mummy fashion before serving.
