  • 8 oz fresh scallops
  • 8 oz medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Chop garlic and parsley.
  2. Cook pasta: Boil salted water, add pasta, and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Sauté garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Add seafood: Sear scallops for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown, then add shrimp and cook until pink (about 2 minutes).
  5. Make the sauce: Pour in white wine, simmer for 1 minute, then add heavy cream. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine everything: Add drained pasta to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. Use reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  7. Serve: Plate the pasta, top with Parmesan cheese and parsley, then enjoy!
