  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • For the Coating: 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine melted butter with warm water and gradually add to the dry mixture until it forms a soft dough.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls (about one inch in diameter) and set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry churro bites in batches for about three minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Toss warm churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture and serve immediately.
