  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tonkatsu sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Set up your dredging station with three shallow bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last with panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Dredge each shrimp in the flour, dip into the egg wash, and coat thoroughly with panko.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry coated shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm with tonkatsu sauce for dipping.
