  • 1015 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Layer the sliced butternut squash in the dish, sprinkling salt, pepper, minced garlic, and torn sage leaves between layers.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream and half of the Gruyère cheese; pour over the layered squash.
